OnePlus has held a major event in New York, and its the biggest US launch event in the companies history and will announce its 6T flagship smartphone.
The OnePlus 6T will be succeeding the 6 launched in May this year, the 6T will come with a bigger screen- AMOLED screen at 6.41in up from the 6’s 6.28in, which will make it the largest screen size for a OnePlus Smartphone. On the resolution department, the new OnePlus comes with an impressive 2340 by 1080, which has five calibration screen modes to meet different user needs.
OnePlus 6T comes with a shrunken camera to give it’s screen more real estate, the 6T comes with a 3700mAh battery which is an upgrade to the 6’s 3300mAh.
The OnePlus 6T comes with a new Screen Unlock feature, the 6T has now introduced a new way to unlock your screen.
Screen unlock is an in display fingerprint feature that will allow it’s owners to unlock their phone by simply pressing their finger on the screen.
OnePlus claims that this feature was made for the 5T, but was not accurate back then. OnePlus promises a speed of 0.34 second unlocking time.
OnePlus 6T runs the latest Andriod Oxygen OS 9.0 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor.
For the camera the 6T comes with, it comes with a decent a 16mp and 20mp, it comes with a new model for improving low light scenes when taking pictures at night, it also comes with studio lighting feature which analyses and takes brighter portraits.
The 6T comes with a (6GB RAM 128 storage), and comes with a price tag of $549, followed by $579(8GB RAM, 128GB Storage) and finally $629(8GB RAM, 256GB).
OnePlus 6T comes in Mirror Black and Midnight Black finishes and will be available starting 1st November worldwide.
OnePlus is also celebrating it’s the fifth anniversary and there are also launching their Bullets Wireless in-ear headphones.
