Samsung 8K TVs are set to make a big splash at CES 2019, but will have to share the spotlight with their two new design-focused lifestyle TVs: The Frame and Serif TV.
The Frame TV has been around for a couple of years now, and in 2019 Samsung will introduce the QLED panel technology for the first time.
So expect brighter, more punchy coloured pictures, as Samsung’s QLED TVs have been for all these years.
The Frame’s unique selling point is when its owners aren’t watching TV. The Frame’s Art Mode can display artwork paintings and pictures that can be purchased from The Frame’s Art Store. With over 1000 pieces to choose from, which includes works seen in famous museums around the world.
A ‘luminance sensor’ adjusts the colours to fit any type of lighting condition of the room. The Frame comes with Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant for hands-free control.
The Serif TV is another concept TV similar to The Frame, and was designed in collaboration with Paris-based furniture specialists Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
It also comes with a QLED panel, it also comes with an ‘Ambient Mode’ which is similar to The Frame.
These where Previously exclusive to big furniture shops and large department stores, it will now be sold worldwide in 2019.
