Sony launching new OLED TVs the Sony AG8 and AG9

Sony has just announced its new OLED televisions the Sony AG9 and the AG8.

It comes in two sizes 55in and 65in variants, the AG8 does not have the X1 Ultimate processor of the AG9 OLED, instead it comes with the X1 Extreme chip seen on its predecessor, the AF8.

Sony still retained the Acoustic Surface technology on the older OLEDs, which involves actuators that vibrate the entire screen in order to produce audio, but it still has space for a soundbar.

Like the new Master Series models, the AG8 is IMAX Enhanced-certified, which will be able to display IMAX mastered content as intended.

Sony did not announce a release date or price for the AG8, but we will keep you posted on any updates.
